On average ca 17% of whole Slovenia unemployment rate is in Podravje region. The worst hit age groups are 15-39 and 55+. The target group between 30-39 years and the 55+ years are affected most by unemployment.

To be even more specific, within those groups, persons with disabilities, long term unemployed, women and first job seekers represent the most vulnerable population.
